Licence

Last updated 8 August 2026

This is the licence for every digital product sold by Cutlark Studio. It applies from the moment you complete a purchase, and it is the same for every bundle unless a product page says otherwise.

It is written in plain language on purpose. Where a term needs to be precise it is precise, but nothing here is hidden in legal phrasing.

What you are buying

You are buying a licence to use the artwork. You are not buying the copyright. Cutlark Studio retains ownership of the original artwork and of the files themselves.

The licence is worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable and does not expire. There are no per-item fees, no reporting requirements and no sales caps.

Personal use

You may use the artwork for anything you make for yourself, your family or as a gift. Decorations, cards, gifts, printed items, personal digital projects — all permitted, with no restrictions on quantity.

Commercial use

Commercial use is included. You may use the artwork in products you sell and in work you produce for clients.

Physical end products

You may print the artwork onto physical items and sell them. This includes, and is not limited to:

  • T-shirts, sweatshirts and other apparel
  • Mugs, tumblers and drinkware
  • Stickers, decals and labels
  • Greeting cards, invitations and stationery
  • Tote bags, cushions and home items
  • Signage, banners and party decorations

Printing method makes no difference — sublimation, DTF, DTG, screen printing, vinyl and digital printing are all covered.

Print-on-demand

Print-on-demand is permitted. You may upload the artwork to platforms such as Printful, Printify, Redbubble, Etsy, Amazon Merch and similar services in order to fulfil orders for finished products.

You remain responsible for meeting each platform’s own rules.

Digital products

You may use the artwork as a component within a larger digital product where it forms part of a finished design and cannot be extracted and reused as clipart. For example: a designed printable, a social media template with the artwork embedded in a composition, or a digital planner page.

You may not sell the artwork as a digital design asset in its own right. See below.

Client work

You may use the artwork in work you produce for a client, provided the finished piece is a design and not a delivery of the source files. If your client needs the artwork as reusable assets, they need their own licence.

Attribution

Attribution is not required. You are welcome to credit Cutlark Studio, and it is appreciated, but nothing depends on it.

What is not permitted

These restrictions exist to protect the artwork from being resold as stock, which is the one thing that would make it worthless to everyone who bought it honestly.

No reselling the source files. You may not sell, licence or sub-licence the PNG files themselves, in any format, at any price, including free.

No redistributing the files. You may not share, upload, email, host or otherwise distribute the PNG files to anyone else, including within a team, a membership site, a Discord server, a file-sharing service or a cloud folder that others can access.

No competing bundles. You may not include the artwork in a clipart set, design bundle, template pack, stock library, font-and-graphics bundle or any product whose value comes from the artwork being reusable by the buyer.

No claiming the artwork as your own. You may not present the original artwork as your own creation, and you may not register it — or any design that consists substantially of it — as a trademark or logo.

No uploading to asset libraries. You may not upload the files to AI training datasets, stock sites, clipart marketplaces, print-file libraries or any service that redistributes design assets.

No use in unlawful or harmful material. You may not use the artwork in anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, or in material that a reasonable person would find obscene.

Modifications

You may modify the artwork freely — recolour it, crop it, combine pieces, scale it, add it to compositions. Modified artwork is still covered by this licence, and modifying it does not remove any of the restrictions above.

Sharing a purchase

One purchase covers one person or one business. If several people in a business need the files, that is fine — the restriction is on distributing the files outside the business that bought them.

If something goes wrong

If you have used the artwork in a way this licence does not permit, contact us. In almost every case it is a misunderstanding and it can be sorted out.

Cutlark Studio may terminate this licence if it is breached. Products you have already sold in good faith before termination are not affected.

Changes to this licence

This licence may be updated. The version in force for your purchase is the version published on the date you bought — updating this page does not retroactively change the terms of an earlier purchase.

Questions

If you are unsure whether something is covered, ask before you build on it. We would much rather answer a question than resolve a problem later.

Still not sure?

If anything here is unclear, ask before you rely on it. We would rather answer a question than sort out a problem afterwards.
