Privacy Policy
Last updated
Cutlark Studio operates cutlark.com. This policy explains what happens to personal data in connection with this website and with purchases made through it.
The short version: this website is a set of static pages. It does not have accounts, a database or a server that stores anything about you. The parts of the process that do involve your personal data — payment and file delivery — happen on Payhip, not here.
What this website collects
Nothing that identifies you, by default.
There is no account system, no contact form that posts to a server, no newsletter signup and no advertising network. The pages are served as static files.
Analytics
If analytics is enabled, this site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. It is privacy-focused by design: it does not use cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not build a profile across sites. It records aggregate information such as page views, referring sites, country, and browser and device type.
If analytics is not enabled, no analytics script is loaded at all.
Server logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information needed to serve and protect the site, including IP addresses. This is handled under Cloudflare’s own privacy terms.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies of its own. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security and load balancing.
The free PNG tools
The tools at /tools — the transparency checker, the resizer and the print size calculator — run entirely inside your browser.
Images you open in these tools are never uploaded anywhere. The file is read by your own browser, processed on your own device, and discarded when you close or reload the page. It does not reach Cutlark, Cloudflare, or any other server. There is nothing for us to store, because we never receive it.
Purchases and payment
Checkout does not happen on cutlark.com. The Buy button sends you to Payhip, which is the merchant of record for Cutlark products and handles payment processing and file delivery.
When you buy, Payhip collects the information it needs to complete the sale — typically your email address, billing details and the country used for tax purposes — and processes your payment through its payment providers, such as Stripe or PayPal.
Cutlark Studio does not receive or store your full card number, CVV or other payment credentials. These go directly to the payment provider and are never available to us.
What we can see through the Payhip seller dashboard is order information: the product bought, the amount, the date, the buyer’s email address and the country. We use this only to fulfil the order, answer support enquiries and meet accounting and tax obligations.
Payhip’s own privacy policy governs its handling of your data, and it is the controller for the checkout process. Please read it at payhip.com.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. It is used to answer you and is kept only as long as needed for that and for any related record-keeping.
Third parties involved
| Service | Role | What it handles |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare Pages | Website hosting and CDN | Serving pages, security, server logs |
| Cloudflare Web Analytics | Analytics, if enabled | Aggregate, cookieless visit statistics |
| Payhip | Checkout and file delivery | Order details, buyer email, payment routing |
No data is sold, rented or shared for advertising.
Legal bases
Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, personal data is processed on these bases:
- Contract — order information, because it is necessary to deliver a purchase you made.
- Legitimate interests — aggregate analytics and security logging, to keep the site working and understand which pages are useful.
- Legal obligation — retaining transaction records for tax and accounting.
How long data is kept
Order records are retained for as long as required by tax and accounting law in the relevant jurisdiction. Email correspondence is kept while it is useful for support. Aggregate analytics data is retained under Cloudflare’s retention settings and does not identify individuals.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to or restrict processing, to receive it in a portable form, and to complain to a data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, get in touch via our contact page. Because order data lives in Payhip, a request affecting purchase records may need to be directed to Payhip as well, and we will tell you if that is the case.
Children
Cutlark products are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16.
International transfers
Cloudflare and Payhip operate internationally, so data may be processed outside your country, including in the United States. These providers use recognised safeguards for such transfers under their own terms.
Changes
This policy may be updated. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Material changes will be reflected here rather than announced individually.
